I have been a licensed private investigator approximately 30 years in California, 15 years in Nevada, and 10 years in Arizona. With many years of experience performing investigations on (and for) a variety of public and private agencies, individuals, businesses, attorneys, insurance companies and subject matters, the positions I've held can be viewed under the Experience Tab. During this tenure, I've testified at the trial level as an expert in several hundred civil and criminal matters before the full spectrum of federal, state and county courts, including before a variety of Administrative Law Hearing Procedural Boards (OAPs) as well as at state and local Boards, Bureaus and Commissions. Suffice it to say I've investigateded literally thousands of cases of every nature and description on many sides of the legal spectrum for both the prosecution as well as the defense.

During my public life as a law enforcement officer for many years on a city, county, state and federal level, I have had the privilege of enforcing a variety of laws that include Consumer Protection Issues, the Business & Professions Code, the Criminal Codes, the Health & Safety (narcotic & dangerous drug) Codes, the Vehicle Codes, and during that tenure my experience has covered the full spectrum of law enforcement - as a field officer, a field investigator, and field supervisor - which included various types of undercover operations, special assignments as well as intelligence gathering activities. And while a District Supervisor in law enforcement, I've had the privilege of lecturing and teaching a variety of investigative subjects at the community college level.

In my business life as a private investigator I've specialized in criminal defense cases, by becoming a member of the approved investigator panel and contracting for the Los Angeles County Superior Court for in excess of twenty years and accepting indigent defense investigative appointments from a variety of criminal court jurisdictions throughout Los Angeles County. I've also been a member of the approved investigator panel in the largest county in the United States, San Bernardino County California; contracting almost exclusively with the San Bernardino County Public Defender's Office for an approximate twelve year period, as a contract Public Defender Investigator for the Chief Public Defender, covering the San Bernardino Mountains and the entire Mojave Desert jurisdictions, including the Courts of San Bernardino, Redlands, Fontana, Twin Peaks, Big Bear Lake, Joshua Tree, Victorville, Barstow and Needles. In these investigative assignments I've handled a full spectrum of misdemeanor and felony criminal defense cases, ranging from simple assault through capital murder.

However, while criminal defense has been my previous passion as a private investigator, I have also been exposed to a large number of public and private institutions on a variety of inquiries involving life, health and death issues, automobile & casuality insurance claim investigations, sub rosa and surveillance assignments, loss prevention and theft claim investigations, embezzlement cases, asset and financial review assignments, difficult locate and missing persons matters, as well as several thousand fact gathering issues and interview of possible witness assignments. Along the way I obtained an in-depth knowedge and great deal of experience in performing background investigations by, for and about individuals, small companies and corporations (including intelligence gathering), many of which were regulated by various state and federal authoriities (such as Clinics, Physicians, Hospitals, Nursing Homes. Commercial Operators, Bus Companies, etc.), in matters which have protected my clients from investing in and hiring miscreants and/or helped determine (and prosecute as well as defend) malfeasance. Additionally, there have been many nanny as well as pre-nup background investigative assignments that have sheltered my clients from potential exposure, possible harm and saved them thousands of dollars. Also and more recently, I have developed a protocol that is helpful in evaluating and avoiding encounters with the predators that prowl the internet.
